Aphelion is a small, family-owned winery in McLaren Vale. We make wines from vineyards we know, with growers we know, and a pretty obsessive interest in what makes each site different.
We're particularly fascinated by Grenache — old vines, remarkable vineyards and the way a grape can taste completely different depending on where it is grown.
We farm and make with a light touch, and we're proudly Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certified. Most importantly, we want the finished wine to taste like somewhere.
