About The Wines
Emergent Mourvèdre 2022 RRP $42:
Aromas of sage, cherry spice and fresh almonds. Dark black fruit on the palate with powdery tannins that provide a canvas for the flavours that wash across the medium bodied palate, and bright acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant.
Our Mourvèdre has a very long finish and persistent drive with an elegant fruit profile.
After the kids have gone to bed, I love a glass of the Emergent with some dark chocolate while we watch the Paris Roubaix, Giro d'Italia or the Tour de France.
Affinity Grenache Mourvèdre 2024 RRP $42:
A blend of single vineyard McLaren Vale Grenache and single vineyard in Willunga South that combine with Affinity to create oodles of complexity. A truly rounded and balanced wine with juicy acid, powdery tannin and the best of juicy red berries from Grenache and earthy mid and back palate from Mourvedre.
This wine I love to sit with a glass of as I read a good book. Equally I love it with hearty shared food at one of our raucous weeknight family dinners.
